Clifton Arms features a beautiful location close to the promenade. The Classic Double Room was exceptionally clean with a comfy bed that ensured restful sleep. The large towels, folded like swans, added a lovely touch, as did the biscuits waiting for me in the room. Loved the friendly staff. they made everything easier. Enjoyed delicious breakfasts during my stay. But, breakfast service was understaffed on one morning, leading to long waits. Noticed some outdated decor in public areas, giving a somewhat worn feel. while I appreciated many aspects of my stay, the service speed during busy times could use improvement.

Family with children superb getaway
I was in a Classic Double Room with my family and it had this amazing view of the seafront. The breakfast was great with choices like veggie and full breakfast. It kept us full all day long.
It was pretty pricey but I guess you get what you pay for.

Had an awesome getaway with my friends! We explored the beautiful local parks and grabbed some great food nearby. The staff was friendly, breakfast was delicious, and there were lots of cozy spots to chill. Just a heads up, the bathroom lighting could be better, and it's a bit noisy if your room faces the street. we had a fantastic time!
We faced a little hiccup when our room had a water leak but were quickly upgraded, which was nice. both of the rooms seemed to need some refreshing and updates.

Had a lovely stay in a classic double room with good tea and coffee amenities, and the Friday barbecue on the terrace was a nice touch! The hotel also offers a sun terrace and a leisure room for relaxing after a day out. The breakfast service could get a little confusing at times, but it didn’t ruin my overall experience. 😊
